Welcome to the Toronto Fitness Challenge!

On Saturday June 15th, the Toronto Fitness Challenge is set to be a groundbreaking, never before seen event! It will unite Torontoians for a one day, action-packed experience to attempt to break Guinness World Records, as well as raise awareness for childhood obesity in support of the SickKids Foundation with a fundraising goal of $100,000!

The Toronto Fitness Challenge was born out of another charity event from Fit Factory Fitness and The O Course – Pink O Course. The event, which took place in September 2012, raised over $42,000 in less than four weeks for Rethink Breast Cancer Foundation! A representative from SickKids attended, and asked if Fit Factory would partner with SickKids on an even bigger event! Two years prior, Suresh Joachim, Canada’s number one Guinness World Record holder had asked Fit Factory to join him in setting a group fitness record. Fit Factory brought the two together, and the Toronto Fitness Challenge was the result! The first of its kind, the TFC could evolve into an annual event and even travel to other cities throughout Canada to raise nationwide awareness for childhood obesity.
